Our Mission

 

We are dedicated to sourcing traceable coffee beans that impacts real lives, and roasting these beans in such a way to highlight their unique terroir flavors.

We understand that quality is paramount; therefore, we prioritize sourcing beans from farms that adhere to ethical and high quality practices. This allows us to offer products that not only taste exceptional but also ensures that the livelihoods of the farmers are supported and not exploited, and that the earth is not worse for it.

Our goal in roasting is to reveal the essence of the place where the beans were grown. The terroir - climate, soil, elevation - imparts unique flavour nuances that we seek to highlight rather than mask. We want to preserve the coffee's sense of origin, so that it can weave its own vernacular language of rural countrysides and sun-drenched hillsides into every sip of your coffee. 

Most importantly, the farmers have put in incredible efforts in handpicking the coffee fruits and processing them through cleaning, fermentation, drying and sorting. We don't want to destroy all of that effort. So we remember to roast thoughtfully, respecting the farmer's intention and hardwork.
